Basic Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Copy of Birth Certificate

  • Copy of High School Diploma and transcript or GED and GED test scores

  • All Veterans need to provie a copy of their DD-224

  • Proof of Residency for the past six months

  • Valid drivers license, Social Security card

Learn to Operate:

 

Cranes, Bulldozers, Backhoes, Graders, Scrapers, Trenchers, Loaders, Compactors, Pavers, Asphalt and Concrete Plants, Drillings and Boring Machines, and other Specialized Construction Machinery. 

Subjects Covered Include:

  • Labor History

  • Global Positioning Systems

  • Fuels, lubricants and coolants

  • Rigging and Signaling

                 Safety

  • First Aid/CPR

  • 10 Hour OSHA, 30 Hour OSHA, 40 Hour Hazwoper

 

Paid On-The-Job Training

 

All apprentices receive 144 hours of classroom training each year of their apprenticeship. This training is required by all registered apprentices.
